Union Township maintains a Davis Weather Vue data logger at the township hall. The weather station is approximately 57.5 feet above ground, and approximately 857' above sea level. The station is used to evaluate the performance of the township's three wind turbines. The station was provided by the EECDBG grant from the State of Michigan.
