Notices to the public are required under various statues.   Official Public Notices are posted in The Morning Sun, Mt Pleasant, Michigan.  Official Notices published in the Morning Sun may contain links to this web site for further information or the complete document.    Some notices contain the wording of the ordinance or amendment within the notice, others have a separate document, therefore some entries will have both the notice and a document, others will only have the notice containing the language.  This page is not intended to be an index of notices or historical record of past notices.  Comments for Public Hearings will not be received On the Record after the date of the hearing contained in the notice.  "Notice to Adopt " is given prior to adoption, "Adoption Notice" is given after adoption.
