The draft ordinance is now available online at www.Uniontownshipzoning.com   along with an online comment form. In addition, anyone is welcome to attend an upcoming Planning Commission meeting and offer public comments.  A public open house event and a public hearing are also planned for later this Spring.

The Township has been working for some months to update our current Zoning Ordinance.  The new ordinance is intended to ensure quality development of commercial corridors and industrial areas, preserve the character of residential neighborhoods, and protect agricultural lands.  The document is more user-friendly and promotes the goals and objectives of the 2018 Township Master Plan.  Before the new zoning ordinance is considered for adoption by the Township Board of Trustees, there will be several opportunities for you to offer your input.
